Happy Halloween

After convincing Caden that he only had to wear the pun'kin costume one more time, we ventured around the neighborhood for 45 minutes of trick or treating. Then, we handed candy out to the ghouls, goblins and Hannah Montanas of the block. So fun!

Gymboree

Every Thursday, we attend Cade's Gymboree class. He has many playmates in the class as you can see in the pics. He always has so much fun admiring his little buddies and enjoying the planned activities.

This class, everyone wore their Halloween costumes.

Pun'kin Patch

After dinner at G-ma Joyce's on Sunday, we headed over the local Pun'kin Patch.

We were able to take a few pics of Cade sitting among the pumpkins. Along with choosing a pumpkin, there was a petting zoo, hay ride, and many wooden cutouts to pose around for pictures. Needless to say, Caden Ryan was thrilled when he saw the family pumpkin!

Fun Stuffs

Mommy, Daddy and Cade sitting by of the fire-pit. The weather has finally started to really cool off. We celebrated the arrival of autumn by roasting "delicious, hot shmo's."

Sunday was Leah's birthday. Ty and Jason (who are expecting their second child in March) did a great job of decorating for the 1 year-old party. Leah wore a pink and purple tutu. She is adorable! Happy birthday, Leah!

More Firsts

Cade really loves cereal! He has been eating rice cereal for about a week now. He uses his fingers to help the cereal into his mouth - quite a messy event!

Cade has reached for objects for the past month. He has also pulled his shirt into his mouth for the past couple of weeks. Over the weekend he grabbed his Terry Teether to play with. It makes a crumple sound when you squeeze the middle. We were so excited because Daddy was the one who got to witness this first!

Busy Weekend... as if they all aren't!

Ryan's birthday BBQ/Aggie game had many attendees "in spirit." Thanks to those who were able to join us in celebrating!


After the BBQ, we made a cameo at a Fall Party thrown by one of Ryan's coworkers, Anne. Cade's pumpkin costume is so cute. He even won the "BOO-tastic" ribbon for his age group!

A Trip to Colorado

Caden and I took advantage of Ryan's busy quarterly-review at CB&I and flew to Colorado. Cade enjoyed the airplane ride. He slept most of the way. Cade really enjoyed the other passengers who visited with him. We traveled to Uncle Lane and Samantha's apartment. It is such a cute place! Cade had so much fun hanging with Uncle Lane and Samantha.

4 mos.

Cade is 4 months old, now. He has really discovered his vocal cords. He babbles all the time but his new attention getter is "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

He has been teething for a few weeks. We think this process could last quite a while. He seems to only get relief when he rubs his fingers across his swollen gums.

When Cade laughs, he squeals. If he is really pleased, he will cover his mouth with his hands and laugh. He is so funny!

Happy 28th Ry!

We celebrated Ryan's 28th birthday with dinner at The Melting Pot. It was a late night for the baby. However, Cade did well opening Ryan's presents! We love Daddy!

Birthday for Rachel

Rachel's birthday was so much fun! Wish we could have stayed for the rowdy part. Her husband Jacob rented a moon bounce. What a blast! Happy Birthday, Rachel!
