10 months! Can you believe?!
Caden is 10 months old this week. He is talking all the time, most of it we cannot understand. But among the basics are "pay" for play, "goh" for gone, "yum" after drinking juice, and our favorite "BABABABABA!" when his disagrees with anything. He loves to play with our faces, squeezing our cheeks and lips. Cade LOVES to pull the plug on the drain to let the water out before bath time is over. Also, he is becoming very courageous, trying to stand alone more often every day. Our lil' 'Caderade' is really about to take off!

Easter '09
Easter day started off slow with black skies and stormy weather. However, after church and lunch, the clouds cleared out and left a beautiful afternoon. We spent a lovely lunch with G'ma Joyce, Auntie Jen and Aunt Cathy.
We decorated eggs on Saturday evening.
Shown below is the "before" picture.
Moments later Caden pulled the pink
The Easter Bunny came!
He brought bubbles and
other fun goodies!!!
It turned out to be such a beautiful day,
we ventured out to the local park to hunt for eggs!

Expecting...
We are excited to announce that Baby #2 is on the way! Cade is very excited about becoming a BIG brother :) Ryan's first question was "One or two?" Of course we are only having one, Honey! We are due November 3 but with a Cesarean, Baby will arrive in late October, 2009. So fun! We cannot wait to "find out" if it is a boy or a girl. I am 10 weeks along and feel well so far, just fatigued. "They" say pregnancies are totally different - and WOW is that the truth! Yay for Baby #2!

WA State
This last weekend, we flew to WA State to visit some of Ryan's family. The circumstances were very sad and unexpected, as Grandpa John passed away last week. However, it was so wonderful to see everyone and spend time with family. Caden enjoyed meeting his many, many Thompson relatives!
