Sweet Pals

Charlotte and Caden love to catch up with Daddy on the weekends during busy season. On Saturday, Cade and Daddy went to their first movie together, Gnomeo and Juliet. Cade didn't let go of the ticket the whole time!

Also, we met our sweet pals, the Harwells, for some Market Street fun! Below, Ali, Charli Kate and Cade on the very random mule statue.

Family Reading Day

On Friday, Charlotte and I attended our first Mommy & Me Music Class together. The class is seven weeks long and this was week four. (She was sick during the first two meetings and of course the roads were closed during the "Winter Threat of 2011.") We had such a fun time dancing a singing together. After class, we zipped up to Caden's preschool where we read a couple of books to the preschoolers at the end of their day!

We had our date night on Friday at our local favorite, Crescent Moon. This hidden treasure has the yummiest food! G'ma babysat while we enjoyed a quiet and delicious dinner out. Thanks G'ma!

Valentine treats for the kiddos :) Daddy couldn't meet for lunch so Mommy took the kiddos to the Cracker Barrel for a yummy brunch. We had a great time and even better, we survived the outing!

 Three generations, a juice box and a scooter equals a ton of fun in the sun! The weather has not been kid friendly in recent past. So we were thrilled that the kids finally were able to spend some time outside.

Great Day

Mimi flew into Houston for a short visit a few days ago. We had a great time hanging out. When Mimi is in town, we usually stop by the mall, which always turns into a ride on the carousel!

The kiddos always love visitors :)

We also traveled to Galveston to visit Aunt Sasa and to drop Mimi off... Sasa was wearing her "naughty longhorn" scrubs. Below, Charlotte is improving the ambiance in Galveston by (pretend) lighting a few candles.
