Easter '09
Easter day started off slow with black skies and stormy weather. However, after church and lunch, the clouds cleared out and left a beautiful afternoon. We spent a lovely lunch with G'ma Joyce, Auntie Jen and Aunt Cathy.
We decorated eggs on Saturday evening.
Shown below is the "before" picture.
Moments later Caden pulled the pink
The Easter Bunny came!
He brought bubbles and
other fun goodies!!!
It turned out to be such a beautiful day,
we ventured out to the local park to hunt for eggs!

Expecting...
We are excited to announce that Baby #2 is on the way! Cade is very excited about becoming a BIG brother :) Ryan's first question was "One or two?" Of course we are only having one, Honey! We are due November 3 but with a Cesarean, Baby will arrive in late October, 2009. So fun! We cannot wait to "find out" if it is a boy or a girl. I am 10 weeks along and feel well so far, just fatigued. "They" say pregnancies are totally different - and WOW is that the truth! Yay for Baby #2!Wednesday, April 8, 2009
WA State
This last weekend, we flew to WA State to visit some of Ryan's family. The circumstances were very sad and unexpected, as Grandpa John passed away last week. However, it was so wonderful to see everyone and spend time with family. Caden enjoyed meeting his many, many Thompson relatives!

A Visit from a Cousin

9 mos.
Cade is at such a fun stage! He is into EVERYTHING and is a non-stop mover. What a work-out! We enjoy watching him interact with his environment. Babies are so smart and amazing. He is getting to be more and more confident on his feet, moving around by holding onto objects and side-stepping. He is struggling a bit right now since four upper teeth are trying to come in all at the same. It does make his behavior a bit unpredictable. But we are still in heaven! He is in the first stages of talking, too. Cade says, "pup-pup" when talking to the dogs. He also says, "boom" when he falls, "cla-cla" when he claps, and "dada" and "mama." We love our little man!
