Congrats, Cousin!

Cousin Nate and Kathy gave birth to their second beautiful daughter, Carley Faith Phillips, on Wednesday! (Love that name!) She and soon-to-be Charlotte will be born exactly 4 weeks apart. We hear that all is well and cannot wait to meet sweet Cousin Carley :) Miss you guys!!!

Less than 4 weeks :)

Charlotte will be here in less than 4 weeks. All went well at the doctor's office yesterday. Charli Kate is estimated to weigh about 5 lbs., now. Which will give her an approximate weight of 7 lbs at birth. This is a bit heavier than Caden was but that makes sense with how different this pregnancy has felt compared to our first. My doc said that she had recently "dropped," which was also different from Cade. When he dropped, it felt as though the earth moved beneath me. I only recently noticed that Charlotte had moved further down but wasn't aware that she had fully dropped. I guess it is a good thing we scheduled the Caesarean at 38 weeks. The ultra-sound showed a lot of hair on her head! She also has big squishy cheeks and a beautiful nose and mouth. Technology is so amazing - even the changes that have happened in the last 15 months are impressive. See little Charli's pictures below...

Baby is laying on her side, facing the screen. The dark circles are where her eyes would be. (If you tilt your head to the right, her face is more clear.)

Here is the shot of her profile. Her nose is pointing up and it looks like she is blowing bubbles :) The object on top of her chest is her fist, with a little thumb pointing to her chin.

A Friend for Charlotte

Our dear friends Ashley and Tae introduced us to their brand new beautiful baby girl, Jemma Grace on Tuesday. Jemma was delivered mid-morning via c-section. Everyone is doing well and Jemma's stats are perfect. We cannot wait to see them again, soon!!!

A&M and 33 weeks Preggo

Over the weekend we were invited to visit Aunt Sandra at Texas A&M. We love visiting College Station. While we didn't have fancy plans, it was fun to get away and catch up :)

6 Busy Weeks to "Grow"

The 32 week check-up for Charlotte today went well. All is on track and seemingly well. My emotions have even subsided during the past few weeks, which I am sure that we are ALL thankful for ;) I still experience Braxton-Hicks and am now to the sleep-very-little phase. But I am so excited about our baby girl that I don't even care about how achy things are or have yet to become... Charlotte, Charli Kate, Cha Cha, we are so excited about you!!!

Labor Day Fun!

Every Labor Day, we are invited to Uncle Paul and Aunt Susan's ranch in Bronte. It is a wonderful excuse to get together to celebrate family. This trip was especially fun, as Cade continues through his curious phase! His favorite activity was to go "side" (outside) and play with the puppies and then the rocks. We love to visit and can't wait to see you again very soon!

The sleepy boys cuddled up together before nap-time to watch Veggie Tales or as Caden calls them, "Tay-Tales."

Conroe Swimming

We visited some friends and former Deloitte co-workers in Conroe a couple of weeks ago. We met sweet Baby Leo. He is precious! It is so much fun to reminisce on infant stages. Babies just grow so fast...
The weather was wonderful and Cade and Ryan had so much fun swimming the pool. Cade also loved playing with the puppy, Buddy! Here are a few pics from that fun day...

DELLA CD Released!

Uncle Lane's band debuted their CD this weekend. As you can see, Lane plays guitar. The music is great (my favorite song is 'Goodbye') and we are so excited for this new chapter Lane has entered into... We wish DELLA the best! Sorry we missed out this weekend!!!
