Nothin' But Net

We had fun playing basketball on a cool Saturday, last weekend. Cade loved touching the net and playing "base-ka-ball!" Charlotte was our 12th man, cheering on her family from the sidelines! Go, Team Thompson!

"Bye-bye Buddy"

... said Caden to Cade when we left our playdate in Katy today. They had a great time together... especially the wagon ride! Thanks for having us Lindy :)
Right, Charli Kate relaxing in the Bumbo.

Above, laughing at his shadow.
Once upon a time, they were baby boys playing in a wagon.
Then suddenly, they grew up and were off to make their fortunes...
Bye-bye, Buddy.

4 months and 20... Already!

Charlotte is 4 months old. She and big brother, Caden, went for their first duo ride in the two-seater wagon yesterday. Charli Kate is growing so fast. She began the teething process a few weeks ago. And, her hunger is insatiable! But such a sweet, sweet soul. Cade is so fast... it is hard to keep up with him :) He went to the park last weekend with Daddy. They had a great time playing basketball. Cade really does have a natural enjoyment for sports and outdoor activities... such a sweet boy, through and through! We love our babies :)

Cupid is My Homeboy

Our sweet "love gifts" pictured above.
The cutest Valentine couple pictured above; Charlotte's first flower from Daddy.
Caden's Valentine shirt says "Cupid is My Homeboy." He opened his box of chocolates this morning, took a bite out of three different chocolates and put them back. We suggested that he have some breakfast instead of filling up on chocolates and he shook with fear at the thought of no more chocolate!

Puck-cakes

We made yummy Red Velvet Valentine's "puck-cakes" for the kiddos.
Date night with my Bestest :)

Superbowl Picnic

With one of the busiest weeks ahead, we snuggled into the game room on Sunday to watch the Superbowl. Caden had so much fun during our "pic-a-nic" as well as watching football! What a happy memory :)

Sprinkle for Lindy

Our friend Lindy is expecting Baby Ella in April. Ashley, Courtney and I threw her a Baby Sprinkle last weekend. Everything from the decor to the punch was pink, pink pink! We had so much fun celebrating Sweet Lindy, soon-to-be "Mommy of 2!"Love you!

Sesame Street LIVE!

We attended Sesame Street Live on Friday! Caden had so much fun watching Elmo :) Sadly and not surprisingly, Charlotte hated the loud noises but settled down quickly once in Daddy's arms.

During the intermission, Elmo balloons were sold for a mere $10 per balloon. We ended up not purchasing the souvenir but I had to laugh at my sweet husband. Ryan was so proud that "we set a precedence of not purchasing paraphernalia" at these types of events.

Cade did fairly well through most of the performance but was ready to head home toward the end of the second act. We planned to attend with The Kessner's but weren't able to get our tickets at the same time. So when we ran into them, we snapped a quick pic with the two Cade's...
As you can see Caden is ready for bed after this fun night!

Rainy Day

Yucky rain! We know that rain is such a blessing in the state of Texas but it sure is hard to explain that to a toddler who wants to run around outside! So instead we play with our many indoor toys.
Below Caden playing with the train set that Papa sent for Christmas...
