Halloween 2010

Even more cute than these pictures taken at Trick or Treat on The Waterway are the phrases that go with them... Our little piglet roars when you ask her "What does a pig say?" and our rooster says, "Treat-Treat" instead of trick or treat!

10-10-10 Equals 30 Years Young!

Sunday was Ryan's 30th birthday! The day began with a special breakfast with Sticky Buns from Williams Sonoma. Then the preparation began for the big day. We had a great time watching the Texan's game with family... though the game was not very exciting for our team. We ate taco fixins and VERY spicey spanish rice. Ryan loves chocolate cake so the kids and I made a devil's food cake with fudge frosting. There were football helmet cookies, as well. The birthday boy received many new clothes, exactly what he wanted. Happy Birthday, Sweet Ryan! We love you too many, so many!!!

Our Lil' Punkins

We love visiting the pumpkin patch. It is one of Charlotte's favorite places, maybe because she was born during the season or maybe because the pumpkins feel good on her teething gums. We are going to try to visit as many as possible this fall...

Got Paint?

On Sunday we began painting the downstairs. I was hoping to brighten up the living room and kitchen with a creamy color, intro... Blonde Bombshell. This quickly became tricky because our downstairs has an open floor plan with the dining room, kitchen and living room flowing into each other. Therefore, we have three different light schemes. This REALLY became a challenge as Blonde Bombshell only looked good under fluorescent lighting in the kitchen. It looked like pale yellow in the living room and lemon yellow in the dining room. Bleh! After we had painted the entire living and dining room, I very disappointingly went back for more samples. We settled with Sausalito and now are almost finished. Cade, pictured below, paints with the roller brush, which he calls the "very high." He is such a great helper!!

As Seen On TV!

On Saturday evening we met up with some good friends to celebrate Ryan's upcoming birthday. Instead of gifts for the birthday boy we had a White Elephant gift exchange with As Seen On TV products. What a blast! Some of the fancy exchange items included HD Vision Glasses, Touch Brush, Topsy Turvy, HeelTastic, Bark Off, Might Putty, my personal favorite The Gopher, many other fun things and yes... someone even ended up with the Shake Weight!

I love you, Sweet Husband. You are my favorite!
